Make note of new AIS protocol for all people, members or not, who fish in Lake Winnipeg. This attachment includes the steps that must be followed by a person removing their boat from Lake Winnipeg and or the Manigotagan River (they are considered to be Zebra Mussel infected waterways).

The Outdoor Gear Swap Meet and Open House was a great success!
There were many people who opened their basements, garages and then opened their truck gates on the range for all the peruse through. But seriously, this was more about getting together and meeting old friends and meeting new friends; lots to talk about and share over some delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls and then have a good old fashioned hotdog.
Thanks to Ada Patzer for doing a tasty BBQ on behalf of the Cadets (an important association).
Even the Orientation for new-comers was well attended.
Nice way to round up the weekend.
Please note that the range fees have been increased to $45 as of January 2016.
The archery course at the range is now ready for archers to use thanks to Kathy and Keith Abenstein. All range rules apply. Only club members who have paid range fees can use the course. Have fun!!
Steve Daviduik submitted photos from the ice fishing derby.
The Range Master is Todd Buss. Todd can be reached at 204-294-7477.
Kathy and Keith Abenstein are the Archery Course Stewards and can be reached at 204-205-1314.
A reminder that the key has been changed and only members with current keys can make use of the range.
The clubhouse will no longer be available while shooting.
When using the range:
- Clean up all your brass as well as your shotgun hulls.
- Take your garbage with you including old paper targets.
- Leave the main gate to the range open when you use it. Do not lock it behind you. This informs members that the range could be live or there is work being done on the site. It also allows for access for emergency vehicles if required. Lock the gate when you leave.
- PLEASE be a “good neighbour” and drive responsibly and carefully when entering and leaving the range, being mindful of people and pets in the area.
